Fujitsu fi-8170 Scanner Review for Healthcare Organizations

In the early days of my healthcare IT career, I made a big mistake in the types of scanners I implemented to scan into the EHR.  After literally burning through a 3-in-1 scanner/printer combo until it was unusable, I realized that we needed to invest in a scanner that could handle the high volume scanning requirements that healthcare demands.  That’s when I first discovered the Fujitsu fi-7160 scanner.  It was a workhorse and solved our scanning challenges.
