GE HealthCare
(Nasdaq: GEHC)
announced today that it received FDA 510(k) clearance and CE mark for its Allia Moveo platform.
Chicago-based GE HealthCare unveiled Allia Moveo, the latest of its Allia platforms, in December 2025 at RSNA 2025. The company designed the system to bring next-level mobility and precision to the interventional suite. It assists clinicians in a range of cardiovascular, non-vascular, interventional and surgical procedures.
Allia Moveo offers enhanced worfklows through its compact, cable-free C-arm system with an intuitive user interface. It also features AI-powered guidance tools to help clinicians work efficiently and adapt to the spacial constraints of traditional interventional suites.
GE HealthCare said it developed Allia Moveo alongside clinicians to address the challenges they face in interventional procedures. The company said clinicians require imaging solutions that deliver clear insights and optimize workflows. It aimed to deliver an easy-to-use, high-performance system to enhance fluidity when space is at a premium.
The first installations of Allia Moveo took place at the Hôpital Marie-Lannelongue in France and Houston’s Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Allia Moveo’s design ensures full access to the patient during both simple and complex procedures. It also has comfort-enhancing features for patients who may benefit from the wide bore and effortless table panning. New features enhance efficiency, like Smart Move for the clinician to move the C-arm away from the patient whenever needed.
The system also has AI tools and augmented guidance that support advanced workflows to enable greater precision. Motion Freeze helps offset involntary respiratory motion artifact to improve image clarity as well. Meanwhile, Metallic Artifact Reduction reveals anatomic details obscured by metal artifacts.
“With Allia Moveo, we’re elevating the clinician experience, removing complexity, accelerating workflow, and enabling greater control during procedures,” said Arnaud Marie, GM, Interventional Solutions at GE HealthCare. “We are excited to collaborate with leading experts at Hôpital Marie-Lannelongue on the first installation of this system, which is a defining step forward for care in the interventional suite, and a testament to our shared commitment to advancing meaningful innovation with the goal of supporting better outcomes for care teams and the patients they treat.”
